Bliss Balls

Hello lovelies.

The recipe for these little balls of heaven has been highly requested, and let me tell you, they are soooooo delish!!  Even my little bubba thinks so.  These bliss balls are also super healthy (bonus!) and a good alternative to sweets.

What you need

You all know how terrible I am with measurements, so take this as a rough guide and if they are too sticky, add more dry ingredients, to thick then add more date paste.

  • 1 cup of almond meal
  • 1/2 cup date paste (made by boiling 1/4 cup of dates in water for about 15 mins and then whizzing in a blender until smooth
  • tbsp cranberries
  • tbsp shredded coconut
  • tbsp chia seeds
  • tsp raw cacao powder
  • coconut to roll

What to do

  1. In a food processor, add all ingredients
  2. Mix on high until well combined.  See note above – if it is too sticky then add more almond meal, too dry then add more date paste
  3. Roll into small balls and then roll in coconut
  4. Freeze until set

I like to store these bliss balls in the freezer and let them sit at room temperature for 5 minutes (if I can wait that long) before eating, but they can also be stored in the fridge or pantry.
